Beth Lindley LMSW
Beth brings a strength-based, curious approach to help individuals better understand themselves and their relationships. She works collaboratively with clients facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship stressors. Beth applies systems thinking to help clients strengthen their sense of self and live into their personal values and strengths.
Beth has learned both personally and professionally, that by understanding relationship patterns, and recognizing our part in the challenges we face, we can find greater self-awareness, emotional flexibility and better manage stress and anxiety as we thoughtfully grow in life.
Beth earned a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan in 2002 and has practiced across medical, municipal, and university settings. In 2017, she completed the Post-Graduate Training Program in Bowen Family Systems with the Center for Family Consultation in Evanston, Illinois and completed the Trauma Informed Care Certificate through the MSU School of Social Work.
Beth provides an affirming, inclusive counseling environment that welcomes individuals of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and diverse cultural backgrounds. She is committed to honoring each person’s lived experience with respect, sensitivity, and equity.
Her interests include understanding the connection between creativity, spirituality and self-development. Beth is the founder of A Curious Path.
The Nautilus has been a symbol of reflection
and personal growth at A Curious Path.
As it grows, the nautilus creates a larger chamber
in front of the one where it lived before.
In the same way, we bring our life experiences with us
while intentionally expanding into new,
more spacious ways of thinking and being.
